Hello, I'm Marina!

I’m a Toronto-based UX Designer with a background in pharmacy and experience designing for HealthTech startups like MedEssist and Empathia.AI.

Working as a pharmacist opened my eyes to the gaps in user experience that affect both healthcare professionals and patients. That’s what led me to UX design — to create intuitive, user-centered solutions that improve workflows, reduce frustration, and make healthcare experiences smoother for everyone.

 

At MedEssist and Empathia.AI, I’ve designed tools that help pharmacists manage consultations, streamline documentation, and focus more on patient care. I love blending my healthcare expertise with my passion for design to solve real-world problems with empathy and creativity.

Outside of work, I love exploring Toronto’s parks with my watercolors or sketching on my iPad!
